We have recently added as many as 17 exciting new fabrics to our fabric range. Many of these are already available to view in our 4 London showrooms, where you can see them actually made up as curtains or blinds. Over the coming weeks, we look forward to showcasing our new fabrics on the website. In the meantime, here is a small taster – Anais.
Already proving extremely popular with our customers, Anais is a gorgeous woven, textured, random dyed yarn. This means you get a vibrant mix of colours within the yarn itself. So, rather than a solid colour effect, Anais gives you get a softer, fluid blend which works really well on large curtains or blinds.
This close up of Anais Shell above shows the flecked and textured detail of this fabric. Other colours in the range include lichen, lime, reef and lagoon, highlighted below.
Anais is a flexible fabric and works equally well as made to measure curtains and / or Roman blinds. Below is an example of a Roman blind for a large kitchen window, made with Anais Shingle (the inset borders are Linen Chintz).
For the curtains in this West London study, the fabric is Anais Shingle, providing soft, textured tonal shades to complement the big floor-to-ceiling window.
In terms of composition, Anais is a 60% cotton blend highlighted with multi coloured threads. It comes in palette of 16 natural colours that take their inspiration from nature. Anais retails at £39.90 per square metre.
