Pelmets are compatible with pinch pleat, inverted pleat and Surf (Wave) heading styles. At Pret a Vivre, we design pelmets that enhance both style and functionality; perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, and formal spaces.
Our pelmets are made inhouse, constructed from durable hardwood, layered with interlining, and finished in your selected fabric. Standard boards measure 15cm (6″), but can be made deeper to accommodate radiators or dual tracks for layered curtains and voiles.
While, traditionally 1/6 the curtain length, modern pelmet dressings are often shallower to maximise natural light during the day; mini pelmets are designed with a minimum depth of 15cm, to discreetly conceal the curtain track and heading.
Avoid mini pelmets in bedrooms if you’re sensitive to light as some seepage may occur above the curtain.
