Introducing a selection of Toiles de Mayenne striped curtain fabric

Now that these beautiful Toiles de Mayenne fabrics are available in the UK via our Prêt à Vivre showrooms, we’ll be taking the opportunity to tell you a little bit more about the individual fabrics over the summer months. In this introduction, we take a look at the various styles of striped curtain fabric available in the Toiles de Mayenne range – this is a brand that is after all particularly noted for its beautiful striped fabrics. All the Toiles de Mayenne fabrics are made by skilled crafts people at the company’s mill in France.

Adele is a sophisticated striped curtain fabric in our Band II price category and retails at £39.90 per metre & is available in 2 colours. This fabric is 91% cotton and 9% nylon with a fabric width of 150 cm. Adele is water repellent, crease resistant and pre-shrunk. It is suitable for heavy domestic upholstery (Martindale = 30,000).

In the Band III category, we have Castellet, an elegant striped fabric which is a 70% linen and 30% cotton mix. Castellet is available in five colours and has a fabric width of 155cm. Castellet retails at £53.90 per square metre.

In our Band VI category, Sultane is a silk cotton mix striped curtain fabric with 60% silk and 40% cotton. Sultane comes in 5 colours and retails at £63.90 per square metre. Sultane has a fabric width of 138cm.
