Now recruiting – Showroom Sales Associate

Prêt à Vivre Curtains, Blinds and fabrics is looking for an experienced sales person to join their dynamic London sales team.

The role

To manage all aspects of the order process effectively and efficiently for both retail and trade clients from initial enquiry; in person at the showroom, over the telephone or via email through to completion and installation. Other key features include presenting clients with the range of services and products available at Prêt à Vivre, producing and following up on quotes and developing key relationships through excellent customer service whilst championing the Prêt à Vivre brand.

Prêt à Vivre Curtains, Blinds and Fabrics have provided made to measure soft furnishing solutions since 1995; with its origins as an online company it has three central London showrooms in Fulham, Islington & Notting Hill with head office and workrooms in Nottinghamshire.

Showrooms are open Monday to Saturday and the role will require Saturday working with a rota day off during the week. Participation at industry shows and events will be required some of which may be outside of normal working hours.

This is a full time permanent role based in the Fulham showroom but will require a period of maternity cover at our Islington showroom.

The candidate

Being a customer facing role we welcome applications from well presented, enthusiastic and personable individuals who inspire confidence with their product knowledge, passion for sales through service coupled with a keen interest in interior design. Excellent communication skills and the ability to illicit key information with scrupulous attention to detail are integral qualities required.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering sales, exceeding customer expectations and developing key relationships. They should be organized, I.T. literate and capable of anticipating and managing the needs of all clients from small commissions through to larger complex projects.

Candidates should have at least two years proven customer facing sales experience working for a luxury brand in the interiors industry, ideally for a fabric showroom. Experience of working with custom made products although not essential will be advantageous.

Salary is dependent on experience.
