Bottom Up Blinds For A Room with a view!
We recently made and installed these very elegant bottom up blinds for a London client in North Kensington W10. Our client wanted privacy in the room but at the same time wanted to retain as much light in the room as possible. She was also keen to hold onto that beautiful sky view!
In this specific situation, using bottom up blinds is an ideal solution. Bottom up blinds are essentially blinds that pull up from the bottom, thereby allowing privacy in the room yet without blocking out the view or the light.
As you can see from the images, the window in question is unusually wide with three panels. Each of the panels effectively has its own bottom up blind so that the blinds can be pulled up to different heights as required. Because of how these blinds are securely fitted, the window panels themselves can be either open or closed behind the blinds. The fabric we used for these bottom up roller blinds is dim-out Texas paper.
Light still floods into the room which has clear views of the lovely blue sky while offering complete privacy within the room itself.
