Contemporary Interior Design Fulham SW6 – BoConcept & Prêt à Vivre furnish a penthouse apartment in Fulham Riverside

For this Fulham riverside penthouse, interior design house BoConcept created a stunning, contemporary interior while the Prêt à Vivre Fulham team took care of dressing the many windows. With an abundance of floor to ceiling windows and other large glazed areas as well as bi-fold doors leading to the terrace, this urban penthouse certainly makes the most of the breath-taking views over London and the Thames. Not wanting in any way to impede on the riverside views and the feeling of immense space and light in this penthouse, we needed to put in place curtains capable of providing that cosy feeling on the winter evenings while at the same time embellishing the overall look of the apartment, in terms of colour scheme, ambiance and texture.

For the Thames-side windows in each of the open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen, our Fulham showroom set about replicating the clean, contemporary lines artfully created by Interior Design house BoConcept. We suggested voile curtains with a wave heading in a simple crisp white sheer for each of these 3 living areas. This elegant window treatment allows bright light to be diffused during daytime. The lightness of the voile encourages an effortless flow of light through the open plan living space.

To continue the contemporary look throughout the penthouse, we suggested our Linen Chintz blackout curtains in Putty and Sterling for both bedrooms with secondary informal wave curtains in a plain white voile where daytime privacy was required. Our Linen Chintz fabric is a beautiful, crisp cotton and linen mix with a subtle glazed finish, perfect for contemporary urban elegance.
