HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Curtains and blinds in time for Christmas
It’s the time of year when we all start looking forward to cosy nights in, hearty dishes and warming hands around a steaming cup of tea.
The festive season brings us together for feasts and evenings shared with loved ones
but somehow those golden moments often seem to require copious amounts of planning, organising and redecorating!
So if you’re dreaming of chestnuts roasting on an open fire with no strangers peeking through your windows,
nor being rustled from bed at the crack of dawn by visiting relatives in need of proper blackout
for a good night’s sleep, then come see us in one of our 5 London Showrooms.
Time is ticking with just 7 weeks to Christmas! We need 4 to 6 weeks to make your order and put it all into place
and that’s without all the measuring, discussions around styles and choosing fabrics.
We can still arrange bespoke blackout curtains or privacy blinds in time for the holidays so speak to one of our designers today.
And if you are looking for those finishing touches to get your room ‘just so’ then have a look at our ready made cushions down-filled
or put together your own custom design to complete your scheme!
We wish you a very merry preparatory season!

TOP TIP
If you’re looking to shield yourselves from wintry drafts then consider using blackout lining on your curtains or blinds. We’re often asked for a thick, heavy fabric to keep out the cold but in reality the most effective option is to use our 3-pass blackout lining which is a better insulator as the three protective coatings are better at keeping out the light and the cold air!
Interlining is a soft fleecy material which can be used in between the face fabric (what you see when you look at your curtain or blind from the room) and the lining (what you would see when you look from the outside in). We offer three different interlining thicknesses – nimbus, fleece and bump in ordering of increasing thickness – to add volume to your curtains or blinds. It is this interlining which gives delicate fabrics like the silk the necessary support they need for a luxurious finish.
Alternatively consider using a thin layer of our nimbus interlining to add stability to your curtains for a more precise drop without the added bulk giving a smart and contemporary look.
