Choosing your made to measure laminated roller blinds

Our service is completely bespoke.

Laminating fabrics

Most of our fabrics can be laminated to make into a roller blind.

During lamination, the fabric is put through a special machine where it is bonded to a backing at a heat of 120C. The blinds are all overlocked as standard. Any blinds requiring joins will have a main centre panel with side panels butted together and seamed creating a smooth finish.

Backings:
Laminate backings are available in standard white and cream and any of the Swedish Plain, Sovereign colours

Blackout backings are available in blackout white and cream, and any of the Mono Blackout and Poly Blackout colours.

Normal roll or reverse roll?

Blinds may be rolled normally or reverse rolled. The advantage of reverse roll is that the laminate backing is not seen at the top; however the blind will not fit as closely to the window and therefore more light may be let in.

Mechanism:
Roller blinds may be operated by either a side winder chain or a spring centre pull.

Chain operated systems are preferable for ease of operation and reliability and are recommended for large and heavy blinds. The chain comes in 12 colours: white, grey, black brown, beige, gold, yellow, red, burgundy, blue, green and chrome.

Options for centre pulls are: wooden acorn (standard), brass or chrome eyelet and rope. Kombine, tassel, metal bar, cut out shape and all the other pulls featured in the accesories section.

Fixings:
The blinds are supplied with all fixings and fitting instructions.
They come with 2 end brackets that can be either face fixed or ceiling/top fixed.

Borders:

You can choose another fabric or colour to have a 5cm bottom border on the blind.
